In this post we are sharing the complete interview experience of ibm from Thiagarajar college of engineering, Madurai.

Bond details : 1 year bond

No.of Students placed :

317 students appeared for the aptitude test, out of which only 21 students cleared aptitude and 11 students cleared email round, finally 10 students placed.

Main Areas to focus : Number Series and how to write a letter.

First round details : There were 18 Number series  and 18 aptitude in which we need to work hard on aptitude.

The types of questions are(under the quantitative section) :-

• Profit and Loss Questions
• Work – Time problems
• Percentage Type problem
• Then some problems which involved weight
• Problems involving Area and volume(we increase the radius by 30% what is ratio of areas)
• Compound and Simple Interest type problems
• Some geometry type problems
• Problems involving age
• Problems involving relations(how is x related to y)
• Problems involving speed rate of flow etc
• Probability type problems

Books and websites used to clear first round

Just your basic knowledge on aptitude skills.
