–Interview Experience
Hai every one,
I attended Tech Mahindra on 3rd
march, 2014. I am from CSE.
Tech Mahindra selection process is divided
into 3 parts
1.
written(a very important round)
2.
technical round
3.
HR.
1. Written:
It consisted of 170 questions to be answered in 80
minutes. The paper was really very easy. It consisted of 11 sections and the
questions were mainly on English grammar, sentence correction, prepositions,
spotting error, confusable words, tenses.
15 questions were from aptitude. , they were really too simple. Just basic mathematics.

30 questions
were from logical reasoning. I would suggest you guys to go with verbal
sections first as you can save time for the aptitude at the end.
50
members were selected from 260 after written test.
2. Technical Interview:
(for CSE students)
It was not like a normal tr. He called 5 members into a panel
and asked to sit them at 5 different places.
The technical person approached each one and asked to write
programs in the programming language they are comfortable with.
Me: good morning ,sir.(I already sat down ,they gave me 2
papers to write code)
Interviewer: good morning.
(He thoroughly gone through my resume, application)
Interviewer: tell me about yourself?
Me: told
Interviewer: asked about my sibling
Me:told
Interviewer: why there is vast difference in your engineering
and intermediate %(there is almost 18% difference)
Me: just smiled J
Interviewer: which language are you comfortable with?
Me: c, java
Interviewer: write a program on encapsulation?( and went
away)
Me: I wrote the program and called him to check it out.
Interviewer: good, write a program on polymorphism
Me: I wrote the program and called him to check it out.
Interviewer: good, tell me about BCNF?
Me: told.
Interviewer: tell me about page faults? Why they occur?
Me: told.
The interviewer also about
the concepts of data structures(sorting, searching etc..)
Me: told.
3. HR Interview:
Me: good afternoon ,sir.
HR: good afternoon, tell me about yourself?
Me: told
HR: where are you from?
Me: told
HR: what are your hobbies?
Me: told
HR: what are your strengths and weaknesses?
Me: told.
HR: why tech Mahindra?
Me: told.
HR: any questions?
Me: no, sir.
HR: ok you may leave.
I thanked him and left the room.
Totally 35 members were selected. I was one among them.
